Terms of Service
Effective 1 June 2026
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Singulr platform. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Singulr cybersecurity assessment management platform (the "Service"), operated by Singulr Pty Ltd ("Singulr", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Singulr is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform providing tools for cybersecurity consultants and security teams. Core features include:
- A reference library covering security frameworks, standards, and benchmarks.
- A unified controls catalogue with cross-framework mappings.
- Threat intelligence aggregation and enrichment.
- Engagement management tools for assessments, findings, remediation tracking, and reporting (progressively rolling out).
- Governance tooling for content approval and version management.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Accounts and Access
Access to the Service is by invitation or direct registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
- You must not share your login credentials with any other person.
- You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload, transmit, or store malicious code, viruses, or any material that may damage the Service or other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access or extract data from the Service without our express written consent.
- Use the Service to store or process data that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the Service without our express written consent.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, framework content, controls data, deep dive articles, documentation, and other materials provided by Singulr, is owned by Singulr Pty Ltd and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any data, documents, or content you upload or create using the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property from either party to the other.
6. Service Availability
We aim to make the Service available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, third-party infrastructure outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.
We will use reasonable endeavours to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where practicable. Status information is communicated to registered users via in-app notices or email.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Singulr Pty Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100 if no fees have been paid.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for the resolution of any disputes.
Nothing in these Terms limits our right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any jurisdiction.
